get an idea of what you would like, want
and need.
This
checklist allows you to get an idea of what
is required to start this a print media
project and what it takes to complete it.
It also helps to design according to what
is appropriate to your company.

The Process
1. Define
your goals, objectives and strategy.
2. Determine the cost of design
and the price of printing.
3. From the requirements of #
1 and # 2, define the look and colours.
4. Create the the content.
5. Merge the content and the
"look".
6. Proof the document.
7. Proof the document AGAIN.
8. Manufacture films required
for printing.
9. Proof the films.
10. Send to printer

Keep in mind the
following when working on a print media
project:
Once you
sign the negatives, there's no turning
back. The project will go to the printers
and you will be responsible for the
final project. So, always double check
the negatives before you go to the printers.
Otherwise, you will have to pay again
for the films and print.
The project takes times to create,
to print and to deliver. Expect anywhere
from a week to months from the start
of the project to final delivery, depending
on the size of the project.
The number of colours and the
kind of paper you choose affect the
the final cost. |

site address, email, phone numbers and
fax numbers are correct. |
